On August 2, the Perm Trail race, a sporting event, took place for the eighth time at the Dynamo ski resort. More than 600 people participated in the event, covering a choice of 5 km, 10 km, or 20 km across rugged terrain. The program also included a 5 km Nordic walk and a 1 km children's run. Importantly, the Perm Trail course is suitable for all skill levels. This run takes place through the natural beauty of the Perm region: forest paths, soft terrain, and ups and downs.

"This event underscores our idea that the joy of movement and connection with nature doesn't depend on pace or age. Everyone can make a personal contribution to their health or improve their athletic performance. We are pleased that the Perm Trail participants fully share our values and enthusiastically support an active lifestyle." The excitement surrounding the race exceeded even the organizers' expectations—and this is the best indicator that we are moving in the right direction, noted Perm Mayor Eduard Sosnin at the opening ceremony.

It's worth noting that the competition is traditionally organized by the Perm Administration's Committee for Physical Culture and Sports and the Spartak Sports School.
As a reminder, satellite races to the Perm Marathon are held throughout the year. The first event, the Spartak Mile: Happiness Exists, took place in April. The ROOTS cultural race took place in June, and the Perm Trail took place in early August. The Happy Run is expected in October. More than 12,500 people have already registered for the Perm Marathon, the year's main sporting event. You can choose a suitable distance and register by following this link.
